For many, particularly in Western culture, freedom means personal independence—basically, the ability to make our own choices and do whatever we want, whenever we want. But that's not the kind of freedom believers are called to.

Jesus didn't set us free so we could just do whatever we please. Instead, He freed us to live the way we were meant to, to walk closely with God, and to become the people He created us to be.
